final project idea

I think for our final project as a class we could all do small bios of our lives obviously up to recent things. And maybe fast forward to 10 years from now and make up what we would like to be doing.

Final Project Idea

I think there were a lot of good ideas already listed -- better than mine. But I think we should do a project on why students wanting to pursue a degree in Communications should choose Plattsburgh State. We could interview current students, alumni of the program, staff and faculty from the department. We could feature that on our website and we could take pictures of the studios and post projects students have done along with any other work that's worth publishing. Just a thought.

I think that building a website that explains about one place that each student has visited or wants to visit would be a good idea. The page would include a picture, brief history and why it attracts the student. Each student would have their own link, so on the homepage there would be the name of the place and a picture and then we can click on the link and it would take us to our separate pages. Also at the end of the page we could have our name and picture.
We could also include a link on the home page saying, vote, comment, where would you go? etc......

id like to do something that focus' on the small/local businesses of the area like the 2 salvation armies, the local comic shop and other small businesses that are around the community that dont get much attention with places like walmart down the street

I Think that we should have a website on popular places to eat in Plattsburgh. we can post reviews, pictures, and menus or several local restaurants.

Final Project Idea

My idea for a website is to inform students about attractions(nature, historic sites, waterfront locations, bars/local hangouts), places to eat, or anything else useful to a student in the Plattsburgh area. This could be very helpful for those students new to Plattsburgh or those who haven't gotten a chance to experience what Plattsburgh has to offer. Plattsburgh is also very close to other attractions that students might be interested in. Snowboarding/Skiing (whiteface), Shopping (Vermont, Montreal). The website would be very broad and contain very general information about activites to make Plattsburgh more satisfying for a student from PSU or CCC.

Final Project Idea

I think it would be interesting to construct a website that explains the Plattsburgh area through the eyes of students. It could list information about the local area and things that students may enjoy doing in their pass time. Maybe sections of the websites could incudes restaurants, bars, recreational activities, and cool places students can visit (ex. Burlington, Whiteface, Montreal). It could provide an honest assessment from students to reveal the best places to visit and most entertaining things to do in the area for other students. The target audience would be for SUNY Plattsburgh students. Each student working on the project could have an area that they specifically work on to focus the sections of the website.

Final Project Idea

Maybe we could make a website as a class with a personal bio page for each student, and then post a little bit of information about what part we played in the making of the website as a whole
